2026 VSGA Amateur & State Open of Virginia Qualifier

FORMAT:

• 18-hole stroke play competition
• All non-exempt players must qualify to play in each championship.
• The total number of participants at each qualifier will vary by site and will be filled by lowest Handicap Index as of May 11, 2026.

 

STARTING TIMES

• Starting times will begin at 8:00 a.m. off holes #1 and 10.
• Groupings and starting times will be available on Friday, May 22.

 

QUALIFYING SPOTS

• The number of qualifying spots in each division will be announced the day before the qualifier.

 

TENTATIVE YARDAGE

• 6,700 - 6,900 yards

 

PRACTICE ROUNDS

• Available May 25 after 12:00 p.m. and May 26 before 2:00 p.m. Practice rounds are also available May 18-22 based off availability.

• Call the pro shop at (757) 563-9440 seven days in advance. Be sure to identify yourself as playing a practice round for this event. Do not just show up.

• Fee: May 25-26 $25
• Fee: May 18-22 $59 plus tax
  • Range balls are not included in your practice round fee.
  • Range balls are included the day of the qualifier.
